Set up payouts and pricing
What it is: connecting the Stripe account your money lands in, and understanding what a credit price means in dollars. Do this once, before your first paid workshop.
Open Payouts and press Connect with Stripe
From your dashboard, open Payouts and press Connect with Stripe. Stripe opens its own form: your name, address, and the bank account you want paid. Fill it in and come back.
Check that you are verified
When Stripe is done, the Payouts page shows your account as connected. If Stripe still needs something from you, the page says so and links you back to finish.
Pick a price in credits
Prices on Faaji are in credits. 1 credit is $2 to the buyer and you keep $1.72 of each one. On the workshop form you type a credit price and the form shows what buyers pay and what you keep as you type. $20 is 10 credits, $50 is 25 credits. Set 0 for a free workshop; there is no fee on free workshops.
Know when money lands
Payouts go out every Monday. A workshop's earnings become eligible 24 hours after it ends, then go in the next Monday run to your Stripe account. Tips and challenge sales follow the same rule.
Create a workshop. Every sale shows up on your Earnings page, and you get an email each time a payout is sent. The full fee breakdown is on the pricing page.
