How to Run a Paid Five-Day Challenge
How to structure, sell, and run a five-day paid live challenge: one sign-up, five live sessions, daily reminders, and a group that finishes what they started.
A paid live challenge is five short live sessions over five days, sold as one ticket. People join because they want to finish something, not just learn about it. It is the format that turns "I should do that" into "I did that", and it is the single best way to take a workshop audience and turn them into a group that trusts you.
What a paid challenge actually is
A challenge is a promise with a deadline. "In five days you will have your first email sequence written" or "by Friday you will have posted five videos". Each day is a live session of 45 to 60 minutes where you teach one step and everyone does it before the next day.
Compared with a single masterclass, a challenge gives people time to do the work, gives you five chances to show up for them, and gives you a group that finishes together.
Step 1: Pick an outcome people can finish in five days
The outcome has to be small enough to complete and big enough to matter. "Write your book" is too big. "Write the outline and first chapter" is a challenge. If you cannot describe what Day 5 looks like in one sentence, shrink it.
Step 2: Plan the five days backwards
Start from the Day 5 result and work back:
- Day 5: finish and share the result
- Day 4: the hardest step, with time to fix mistakes
- Day 3: the middle step
- Day 2: the first real piece of work
- Day 1: setup, decisions, and a small win in the first hour
Every day ends with one homework item that takes less than thirty minutes.
Step 3: Price it as one ticket
A challenge is one purchase, not five. Price it like the result: the price of a challenge is usually two to four times a single workshop, because people are buying completion, not a session. Many first challenges sell between $50 and $150.
On Faaji.co a challenge is created once: title, five days, the daily time, the price. Everyone who buys gets access to all five live days and the member hub in between.
Step 4: Sell it for five to seven days
Open sales a week before Day 1. Share the link with a sentence about what people will have finished by Friday. Post one short piece each day about one of the five steps, and end each with the link. Send a direct message to anyone who asked you about this before.
Step 5: Run the days
- Start every day on time and say the day's result out loud.
- Teach for fifteen minutes, then do the work together on screen.
- Take questions live. Bring people on stage to show their work if they want to.
- End with the homework and the time for tomorrow.
Faaji.co sends the reminders before each day and keeps the group's questions and replies in one place between sessions, so you are not managing a spreadsheet and an email tool while also teaching.
Step 6: The Day 5 offer
On the last day people have momentum and a result. This is the moment to tell them what comes next: a longer program, a group, or one-on-one sessions. Say it plainly, once, with a link. On Faaji.co you can drop that offer into the live room as an upsell so people can grab it while they are there.
After the challenge
Collect the results people got, with permission, and use them the next time you sell the challenge. Save every question from the five days: they are your next content.
